As an Austin maternity photographer, I am constantly looking for unique and special places to plan sessions with my maternity + newborn collection families. The best part — while we were consulting and getting our session scheduled, this family mentioned that they loved the river and that it held significance for them as a married couple! I love to incorporate special details for parents in my sessions, whether it’s a special item or a special place. I have started to include this question on my longer session questionnaires, as I think it’s a great way for people to feel more comfortable in front of the camera and it also helps me get to know each of my clients better. Always be sure to mention those little details to any photographer you’re considering hiring, and your experience will be just that much better.
